The end of the year is closing in...

And so comes the winds of change.

There are many things going on with Twisted Images Photography, but before I break into that I for one would like to personally apologize to our fans and followers. I have seriously been slacking in the Blogging department. With the news of our pregnancy and then posting I would be going on maternity leave, I certainly wasn't expecting the rush of clients at my door before actually going on leave. Not to mention, it also doesn't help it was just getting into the Holiday rush at the time.

So if you were looking forward to our posts, I am sorry. I am hoping to be a little more consistent with the blog once baby boy arrives and I am able to do so.

Now that I have that out of the way, I wanted to make this post just to check in with everyone and let you all know how the business and our growing family is doing.

Our family is doing great and everything is set for baby Gage to make his way into the world. At being just shy of the 9 month mark at 35 weeks, we are anxiously awaiting for Gage to arrive, :) {on his own terms of course}. The Holiday season sure made me realize just how pregnant I was during our Christmas & Holiday Mini sessions, as squatting to get on the same level as little ones just wasn't as easy as it used to be lol. And there was no hope for me chasing after those little giggles and smiles lol. But in the end they were well worth doing and they turned out great. Raelee has been super excited for her new little brother as well, and has even taken a sibling class to prepare her for the arrival of baby Gage. She was so proud of taking the class and learning to change a diaper, I think her baby doll had the cleanest hiney around lol. So Santa has decided to get her her very own diaper bag for her own dolly. This way she can take care of her baby doll just like mommy does Gage. I have also decided to get her a camera for Christmas as she really enjoys watching me and really has shown an interest in learning photography {well, as much interest as a 5 yr old can have}. So I may have to share some of her up and coming work in the future.

Now that I have been on maternity leave for a little, I have to admit I have been going a little stir crazy with not doing sessions. I don't think I have ever gone this long without picking up my camera, lol. My poor husband shook his head at me but I did break down and ended up taking my camera to Thanksgiving to take family pics. While it curbed the itch a little, I still wanted to keep doing my work. So... I ended up turning to seeing what was new I could learn and work on that I could bring to my clients for the 2018 year.

This has gotten me pretty excited, as I had touched into learning this and bettering myself in it a while ago, but then dropped it. Well, after some more learning and consideration, I have made the leap and after becoming very satisfied with the turn out, have decided to offer this to my clients in 2018. I am really excited about this as it allows my artistic ability and imagination to shine with such projects, so I am really looking forward to introducing it to everyone. If you have been checking in on our Facebook Page, you may have an idea as to what I am talking about.

{I know, the suspense is killing you, isn't it?} However, if you haven't been following our Facebook Page, then I guess you will have to stay tuned  :)
