5 Tips of How to Relax during your Boudie Session

Are you nervous about your boudoir session? No worries, everyone gets the Boudie jitters, and I totally get it. Each one of my clients that step through my front door are nervous, but the best part is, when you step back out that door. Your nerves will be the last thing on your mind. You will walk out, a goddess with your head held high with a all new sense of self esteem you never knew you possessed.

Below are a few tips that I have compiled to help you relax on the day of your shoot. Some of these I even do in studio to help.

Play Music – This will help you to calm down and feel comfortable. I always play my Boudoir Playlist during shoots. Not only to help you relax but also to add to the fun... cause we all giggle at "I'm too sexy" or "Sexy and I know it"...lol
 

Deep Breathing – Practice deep breathing. This is a proven relaxation method. Breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale through your nose. Repeat until you feel better.


Take a Break – If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we can take a break from shooting and talk and relax before resuming the session.


Drink – Not to get drunk, but a glass of wine before your shoot might help take that edge off. While I don't offer wine or alcohol in studio I do offer bottled water.


Laugh It Off – If you’re feeling silly in front of the camera, laugh at yourself. Laughter is a great relaxation technique which is why I strive to make your experience as fun as it is uplifting. I want my clients to have fun, laugh, and go back to their friends and family telling them how much fun they had.
