Let's face it. 2020 was a sh*t show (pardon my french). So many people, including myself ran into so many ups and downs it left me tired, worn out, and stressed. I definitely needed some me time. To me, my "me time" is usually spent getting my hair done. Just those few hours of sitting in a salon being pampered without "mom, mom, mom", "I'm hungry", "what's for dinner", "where's my toy"...
I mean let's face it, we all need a break from time to time. But, we also tend to put ourselves last when it comes to doing stuff for "us". Trust me I am the queen of doing this. I am the person who goes shopping with the intention of "today is the day I buy for me" and then talk myself out of everything I picked up for me, and replace it with stuff for my kids or hubs. I can never justify investing in myself, so I know the struggle first hand. However, with being in this business. I also see where we are allowed to invest in our selves. With everything we do for others, what's wrong with doing something that makes you feel good, and renews that self confidence that we tucked under the rug when we had kids? We deserve to pamper ourselves, and what a better way then to spend a couple hours out of the house, getting your hair and makeup done by a professional, and then getting some amazing photos to remind you of how beautiful and special you truly are?
These ladies took the leap and invested in themselves, will you?
